Who We Are

SeedStep Angels (SSA) is dedicated to providing quality early-stage investment opportunities for accredited Oklahoma Angel investors and to assisting entrepreneurs and early-stage growth companies by serving as a key source of funding, information, networking,  mentorship, and educational resources.

History

Since 2009 SSA has grown to more than 50 members throughout the state of Oklahoma. The makeup of the group includes current and former business owners, executives, attorneys, private investors, and many other types of professionals. With i2E as the lead investor on the majority of our deals, SSA has been instrumental in bridging the financing gap for early stage companies in Oklahoma.

Partners

SSA has also developed great relationships with other angel groups in the region and have been able to co-invest with these groups through syndication. Having syndication partners allows us to diversify our deal flow and it nurtures the habitat for angel investing throughout the region. Some of our syndication partners include Gopher Angels, Mid-America Angels, Nebraska Angels, St. Louis Arch Angels, and Wichita Technology Ventures, LLC.

Community

SSA strives to nurture close relationships with other local entrepreneurial organizations and to be full participants in the Oklahoma entrepreneurial scene.  To this end, SSA maintains relationships with business schools from regional universities, local incubators, entrepreneurial organizations, trade organizations for area industries, and early-stage investment professionals.

Angel Capital Association

SSA is also a member of the nationwide Angel Capital Association (ACA) and shares organizational and network management ideas with like-minded groups from all over the country.
